I am a qualified counsellor with experience in supporting individuals with a range of personal or interpersonal problems. I have a foundation degree in Humanistic Counselling, which focused on working within the Transactional Analysis approach. I actively attend further training to ensure that I continue to improve my counselling skills.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and the Hampshire Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (HACP). As a member of BACP I follow their code of ethical and professional conduct and regularly attend clinical supervision as this is good practice and ensures I am practising at my best.
I take an anti-discriminatory LGBTQ+ affirmative stance, and I am open to difference in all its forms.
I have worked in the field of mental health, and I am currently working alongside a volunteer organisation called The Olive Branch Counselling, based in Winchester.
“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
